I made a faerie house today. My neighbors and husband concurr that I am a looney. Oh, well.
This is the garden. Ain't much doing yet.
These are my three roses, and in July they will be the mad fat bomb, just you wait.
This is the bit closest to the patio and table and chairs. The faerie house ended up behind this arrangement of pots. Under the baby Japanese Maple.
This is step one. Yes, I do have an aubergine purple parasol. I rock. The wire contains no iron and is plastic coated, tres faerie friendly.
The completed house with wood and brick patio, palisade fence, and soon to be reflecting pool. (Once it rains.) Was well impressed with the sun dappling!
A detail. That's a tiny baby cerinthe, by the way.
And what you would see standing nearby. Obviously, later in the Spring and into summer, the house will be much more secluded, as the plants slowly take over!
